are essential tools for any practicing
metaphysicist, magician, or explorer of hidden knowledge. Like nature, life benefits from a variety of resources when it is working together towards a greater goal. But just as important is the willingness to experience this variety of life for oneself, for we are creatures that become stronger with every experience that we observe and live.
Listed here are a variety of resources that are considered to be worth investigating by their respective communites. They are also selections that I, myself, have enjoyed exploring. If you know of any other inspiring resources
that deserve acknowledgement please feel free to email your suggestions to
| :: Alchemy :: alchemylab.com is an excellent resource for those interested in the transformative power of Alchemy. Take the Alchemy Quiz and discover which stage of transformation you are currently experiencing in your life. | :: Paranormal Investigation :: The original Ghost Hunters series that broadcasts weekly on the SyFy Channel. The skepticism of its investigators helps to uncover the mysteries behind various paranormal phenomena. |
| :: Astrology :: writingsinthesky.com is my favorite astrology site by experienced astrologist Robert Brown, who has written for Indigo Sun magazine since 1994. | :: Phenomena :: Fortean Times is one of my favorite weird/paranormal magazines of all time! Printed in the UK, it offers its readers a plethora of strange and wonderful articles that prove that there is still much more in the world left to learn. |
| :: Cryptozoology :: www.pibburns.com/cryptozo.htm One of the best hub sites for cryptozoology. The menu is divided into specific cryptids with informative descriptions about each site. | :: Tarot :: LearnTarot.com is an excellent site to learn all about Tarot and boasts one of the largest databases of Tarot card decks with card images and reviews. Lo Scarabeo is a company based in Italy that specializes in Tarot and oracle decks. Highly recommended if you want a deck that is functional and beautiful. |
| :: Magick :: Of the many sites out there that discuss magickal workings, wikipedia's entry on the subject is perhaps one of the best in terms of objectivity. Since the term "magick" came to be through Aleister Crowley, much of the entry references his observations about magick. | :: Symbols :: Symbols.com is a must for anyone studying symbology and signs. Almost every type of symbol can be cross-referenced here, from traditional religious and spiritual icons to modern day signs. Many Alchemy symbols can be found here as well. |
| :: Mythology :: www.pantheon.org If you need to know the difference between Athena and Artemis or forgot your Norse mythology this is the place to go. Very well organized. |
